Reese grew up in Noblesville, Indiana before moving out west to study at Pepperdine University in California. During his sophomore year he studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he volunteered at Hospital de los Niños and Ronald McDonald House which eventually prompted him to change his major to Spanish. After Pepperdine, Reese completed a Master’s Degree in Bilingual and Multicultural Education at La Universidad de Alcalá in Madrid, Spain. Following his return to the U.S., Reese pursued his combined interests in medicine and bilingual education by attending Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico. While there, he served as the Rounds Coordinator for Social Medicine - a group dedicated to serving the homeless population of Ponce. He chose Med/Peds in Miami because of the diverse patient population, opportunities in global health, and amazing residents.
